AI model usage has skyrocketed in past few years, local models are keeping larger SaaS AI companies on their toes, thee race for building smaller and faster models never ends. However, threat actors often pick up on this race and capitalise on the hype train by building exploits right into AI models and hosting them for free, effectively achieving easy malware distribution. Since, models are programs and are capable of calling arbitrary functions, the malware authors don't need to look for zero days in operating systems to cross the initial access threshold. This talk will discuss one such attack vectors with a nice demo.
